We want our students to enjoy visiting The Center for Learning and Innovation and to feel privlidged to have the opportunity to check out so may wonderful books. Parents can encourage children to take care of his/her library books by:

  • Keeping library books in a safe/designated spot in your home

  • Carrying books by the spine rather than by the pages

  • Washing hands before handling books

  • Keeping food and drink away from library books

  • Keeping books out of the rain and away from water bottles in backpacks

  • Placing books out of reach from little brothers, sisters and pets

  • Returning the books on time so others can enjoy them also

  • Inform Ms. Shana about any torn pages or writing found in a book

Overdue notices and bills for lost books will be emailed or sent home with the student periodically. While we do not charge fines for late books, we do charge if a book is not repairable or lost. If a lost book is found or returned within a year, the total fee will be refunded to you. All fees are used to replace lost books.
